Textual Analysis - Poster 4.

It is the colorus that hit and attract you into this movie poster for "Leap Year". Green portrays freshness and fertility. Green also has a strong correspondence with safety, dark green is also associated with money and greed. The green in the picture here, portrays to the audience signs of emotional healing and protection.  The way how the female protagonist is positioned in this way, suggest she is very confident and her body language also suggests this. She has been positioned at the front of the poster, suggesting to the readers her class and statues. The male protagonist is somewhat different to her and his body language in this photo is not as confident as her, almost shy.  The layout is really easy to follow. The image is the main selling point, along with the eye catching colour, that also coincidently matches her dress, giving her more "power".  The font is large and clear. Using only one colour for the font suggest a rather simple meaning to the film.
